In 2016 it was standing room only at the United Steelworkers Hall for an amazing sold out event with 800 tickets sold! The Northern Ontario Micro Brew Festival hosted by Stack Brewing works long and hard to curate a sampling of the north’s best breweries and distilleries to tantalize the taste buds of expert and novice cicerone alike. Everyone is excited to be there and share their knowledge and passion  - from the brewers to the patrons.  The Festival holds Ed sessions with tips and tricks on brewing and distribution from the pros and food pairing presentations from local restaurants.

In 2017 you can expect to see many different breweries from all over the north, more rare brews and oddities not usually available in the north. The festival has grown and this year the festival will take place over two days – March 10th & 11th at the Caruso Club in Sudbury.

Friday, March 10, 2017 – 6pm to 11pm

Friday will feature a smaller number of breweries showcasing limited small batch brews not regularly available and live music featuring local legends Murder Murder and Elliot Brood - a three piece Juno Award winning alt-country band, they have become one of the premier acts in Canadian roots music.

Saturday, March 11, 2017 – 1pm to 9pm

Saturday will feature more than 17 different craft breweries from all over the North. Porketta, ED sessions where you can learn about the styles, the history and most importantly learn to appreciate great Ontario brewed craft beer, and let’s not forget the fantastic giveaways.
